LaserBright (Painted Aluminum)
LaserBright is an aluminum sheet coated with a layer of colored lacquer. The laser beam removes the lacquer selectively, exposing the metallic color underneath – the engraving is therefore not a recess in the metal, but a contrasting design in a second color. The material offers the rigidity and appearance of metal with a color range unavailable in anodized aluminum; it comes in 15 color combinations, in a matte or gloss finish. It can be processed with CO2 and fiber lasers.
